How do I make a payment?
Do you only accept PayPal? Do I need a PayPal account? Can I pay by credit card?
It's all very simple. You don't need a PayPal account to use the PayPal Gateway, which will give you the choice of paying by card (Visa, Mastercard etc.), or if you do have a PayPal account you can log in and pay that way. So when you're ready to checkout, just click and you will be taken through the PayPal Gateway to make your choice of payment. Eh voila!
Where do you send to? Do you send to my country?
For now, we send to the UK and countries in the EU. We hope to expand soon, but meanwhile if you live in a country not on this list and would really like to order something, please feel free to send a message via the Contact Us page and we will see what we can do to help.
How long does it take?
Presently, super fast regular delivery is our middle name! We endeavour to process and send out your order within 24-48 hours (if in stock), and post same/next day. So theoretically, if you live in the UK, you can receive your order within 24 hours of ordering! Of course, officially we say within 3-5 days on the outside, depending on Royal Mail services.
If an item says 'Sold Out', does that mean it's sold out for good or will you be restocking?
If you'd love to order an item that has a 'Sold Out' notice, please click on the black 'In Stock Reminder' tab/envelope icon and fill in your details so we can notify you via email when the item is back in stock. Or for quicker results contact us with item details, and we will see if it is possible to order it in for you as soon as possible.
If I would like a silver coloured chain instead of a gold one, or vice versa, is that possible?
Yes! Dolly Loves PolkaDot is an independent jewellery boutique, and as such operates on a personal level. We can make changes to items such as chain types and colours (plus other findings), as well as possibly cater to custom requests. If you have any queries, please send a message via the Contact Us page and we will do our best to cater your needs.
Do you do discount codes or vouchers?
Yes we do! Please check our blog or social media pages, especially Facebook and Twitter, for regular discount codes, promotions, special offers, flash sales and more. If you are ordering from DLP for the first time, please use code FIRST-10 at checkout for 10% off your first purchase (excluding delivery).
We hope you are very happy with your purchase, but if for whatever reason you would like to make a return please contact us within 14 days of receipt, and if approved we can arrange for a refund or exchange once we've received the item/s back within 21 days, in the unworn original condition and packaging they were sent out in. Refunds do not include return shipping (unless item is faulty) but do include original shipping. No refunds or exchanges for earrings, unless faulty, due to hygiene reasons. Please remember to obtain a proof of postage certificate from the Post Office. We'd love to help, so please let us know if you need any as soon as you can.
Look after your fashion jewellery and try not to spray perfume/use soap/scented products/get excessively wet whilst wearing your item, as it might damage and cause discolouration. The jewellery we sell is mainly costume jewellery and is made of plated/coloured metal alloys, brass and other materials, over time there will be some natural tarnishing to the items. To clean your jewellery, wipe gently with a soft cloth or jewellery cloth. A little Brasso works perfectly with brass items.
